I keep the following link in my "Favorites" bar, and I use this page as a gateway to almost everything I need to know about the weather:

National Weather Service Portland Forecast Website

In the column of links along the left edge of the page I chiefly use "Radar" and "Satellite" to access images of the current weather.  In the chart in the center of the page, I primarily use the "ZFD" (Zone Forecast Discussion) buttons to see a concise forecast for specific areas.  The "AFD" (Area Forecast Discussion) buttons give a more in-depth analysis for the next week.

As you can see from the list of cities in the chart, this page covers the Pacific Northwest from Canada to Northern California and from the Pacific Coast to inland Idaho.

I use the following web cams to confirm conditions before I hit the road:

Regional:
ODOT TripCheck (Oregon Road Conditions)
WSDOT Traffic Cams (Washington Road Conditions)

The Gorge:
Columbia Gorge Web Cams
The Dalles Airport
Wishram Heights (Just east of The Dalles Dam)

The Coast:
OregonSurf.com (One link does it all)
Weather Forecasts for Northern Oregon and Southern Washington
