One morning on a photo trip to the Gorge I was lucky enough to witness this very fleeting sunrise. The dawn sun shone horizontally under the low cloud layer and illuminated a layer of haze.
I got a few photos, but came away from it feeling like I had missed an opportunity in some ways. Mornings with color this vivid and dramatic are fairly uncommon in our area.
