For a few years in the 1990s, Shamberg Bridge over the Tualatin River near Sherwood was my "go to" place if I thought I saw the right conditions developing for a dramatic sunset. It is reasonably close to where I live and it offered favorable views east and west on the Tualatin. I did bring back a lot of good film from those trips, which is probably the main reason that I stopped going there. It tought me a lot about looking for new photos in a place that I thought I had thoroughly covered. I wonder what I would see if I went back today?
