Mt Hardisty from the Athabasca River in Jasper National Park.
This picture of a beam of late afternoon sunlight hitting 2716 meter high (8911 ft.) Mt Hardisty in Jasper National Park, Alberta, was taken from the Athabasca River bridge just south of Becker's Chalets. Becker's is a favorite place of ours to stay and dine while we are in Jasper. Becker's is no more expensive than accomodation in Jasper Townsite and it is located just a few miles south of there. Staying at Becker's is a great way to avoid the noise and smells of the tour buses and trains passing through the town of Jasper.
