Herbert Lake reflects the Waputik range and the Bath Glacier in the Canadian Rockies..
This picture of Herbert Lake was taken early on a fall morning. Herbert Lake is an easily accessible Lake along the roadside near the southern end of the Columbia Icefield Parkway, only a few miles north of Lake Louise. It is a great location for early morning or late afternoon photos of the surrounding mountains.

Starting at the left, the first large peak is Mt Bosworth. Then the Waputik Mountains stretch across the horizon into the long summit ridge of Mt Daly. The icefield on the flank of Mt Daly is a small portion of the Bath Glacier. The massive dark ridge near the right edge of the frame is the Waputik Range, topped by Waputik Peak.
