Two women share a canoe ride on lovely Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park in the Canadian Rockies. Emerald Lake is located about 9 km / 6 miles from Field, BC on a park access road. Look for the exit just west of Field. The lake is home to Emerald Lake Lodge and a canoe rental facility. In 2006, canoes rented for C$20.00 for 1/2 hour, C$27.00 for 1 hour, or $75.00 per day.
