This photo/picture Bow Peak emerging from the clouds on a cold fall morning, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.
Bow Peak is located about 20 km north of the start of the Icefield Parkway, about halfway between Hector Lake and Bow Lake. Bow Peak is 9410 feet (2868 meters) high. Curiously, Bow Peak is not located adjacent to Bow Lake or Bow Pass, although it is close to both.

This photo was taken with a long lens from a turnout near the south end of Bow Lake. A strong breeze was coming from the east (left side of picture) and was pushing the clouds on the peak toward the west. The clouds were re-forming just as quickly as they were being blown away.

Crowfoot Pass Trail leads from near the picnic area at Bow Lake 7 km south through the pass between Bow peak and Crowfoot Mountain to 7400 feet (2360 meters) high Balfour Glacier Viewpoint overlooking Hector Lake.
