This ceramic tile bathroom floor has a border of pale green tile and black tile surrounding a field of hex-shaped tiles done in shades of gray. The baseboard is also black ceramic tile. Pratt & Larson produced the tile.

This bathroom is part of a larger remodel of a Portland, Oregon, traditional home by Ravenwood Group.  The plumbing fixtures are new and include modern features, and the rest of the products were chosen from sources that provide authentic period decor.

There's a lot going on in this master bathroom, but the most dramatic features are the 2 gothic arches that frame the toilet alcove and the bathtub/shower alcove. The smooth-finish walls are painted with a dark yellow, and the cabinets are a lighter shade of yellow.

The yellows complement the green ceramic tile that is used in the countertop and the border of the floor. The black tiles used in the border and as sanitary base tile add some needed contrast.
