Lower Lindsey Creek Falls drops in several steps. This is the lowest set of tiers. There is another fall around the corner and to the right, just out of sight. It's not possible to capture both sets of falls in the same photo. This unmarked waterfall is actually at freeway level just west of the truck weigh station below Lancaster Falls. If you are driving west from Hood River on I-84 toward Portland, look south into the woods in the next curve after the weigh station. It is easiest to see Lower Lindsey Creek Falls on overcast days and in the winter when there is less foliage to block the view. If you want to stop and see the falls, it is best to do it from the eastbound lanes because there is a wide shoulder on the south side of the freeway to park on.

According to the USGS map and online accounts, there is another waterfall about a half mile upstream. It is not clear whether it is accessible or not.

This waterfall was called Harrison Falls early in the 20th century. After the original Columbia River Scenic Highway was built, a number of auto camps were built along the new road. The one that operated at Lindsey Creek was known as Harrison's Auto Camp. No trace of it remains.
