Flooded Willows in the Purple Glow of Dusk in the Columbia River Gorge.
I shot this picture on a spring evening at Rooster Rock State Park. I began the evening photographing the evening sunlight on the willows and cottonwoods on the island to the left. After the sun went down, I looked to my right and saw this beautifully colored Columbia River scene. The Columbia Gorge is famous for its strong and steady winds, but occasionally the river is calm and glassy.
