Ground fog drifts through the trees and pastures below Cape Horn in the Columbia River Gorge
A few miles east of Camas on Highway 14, the highway traverses a cliff face at Cape Horn.  For travelers headed east, there is a safe turnout at a viewpoint that has an awesome view up the Columbia River to Beacon Rock and beyond.  One day when I stopped at that viewpoint, ground fog was drifting through the woods and pastures below.
