Horkelia Meadow is a small complex of ridgetop meadows on Surveyor Ridge along the road to Lookout Mountain. The great thing about Horkelia Meadow is the variety of grasses interspersed with wildflowers, and how the late-afternoon summer sun filters through the trees. In late summer when most wildflowers are done, there are still lots of asters to enjoy here.
