This photograph was made from the heights south of the Sea Lion Caves looking toward Florence, Oregon and the jetty at the mouth of the Siuslaw River. The light offshore haze blurs the distant details and obscures the horizon. Florence marks the northern end of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, a spectacular area that I want to spend a few days photographing.
