The village of Oceanside is located on the Three Capes Scenic Drive between Cape Meares and Netarts Bay. Oceanside has a State Wayside with plenty of Parking and a long, wide sandy beach.

Cape Lookout is a narrow rock peninsula that juts two miles into the Pacific Ocean with a trail its full length. The trail is easy, but can be muddy during the rainy season.

The Three Capes Scenic Drive leaves Highway 101 in Tillamook and goes west along the south shore of Tillamook Bay. At the coast, it turns south and proceeds across Cape Meares to Oceanside, Netarts Bay, Cape Lookout State Park, Sand Lake, Tierra del Mar, Cape Kiwanda, and Pacific City.

At Pacific City, Three Capes Scenic Drive turns inland and follows the estuary of the Little Nestucca River back to 101.
