Mt. Rainier viewed from a meadow just below the Paradise Visitor Center.
This photo was taken from the road shoulder on the climb up to Paradise on Mt. Rainier.  This was the first last good picture I got of Mt Rainier on this trip.  Soon the skies were filled with smoke drifting up from large forest fires in Central Oregon.
