This picture was taken on the White River Road in the Mt. Hood National Forest. On a fall morning, the sun is turning the previous night's dew into water vapor.
Beginning at the lower White River Sno Park where Highway 35 crosses the White River, White River Road parallels the river southeast for about 14 miles before it rises out of the White River Canyon and turns northeast toward Rock Creek Reservoir and Wamic. It is a pretty drive, and a great road to viewing fall color.
