My name is Doug Gorsline. I've been fascinated by the magic of photography since the moment I shot my first roll of film. I'm very happy to have the opportunity to share a few of my photographs with you via this website.

About Ash Creek
Many of the photos on this site list "Ash Creek" as the location. Ash Creek is a small creek that runs through my back yard. Beside the creek is a vernal wetland where many native species grow.
We are located just west of Portland, Oregon in the community of Garden Home, the birthplace of famous photographer Imogen Cunningham, who co-founded Group f/64 along with Ansel Adams and Edward Weston.
